REACT Lab at TRBAM 2023

REACT Lab was well represented last week at the 102nd Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting held in Washington, D.C. In attendance alongside REACT Lab Head Dr. Alexander Bigazzi were alumni Emily Bardutz, presenting a poster on perceptions of pedestrian comfort and safety for interactions with self-driven versus human-driven vehicles, and Hamed Barkh, hosting a poster on road grade and elevation estimation from crowd-sourced fitness application data. Jordi Honey-Rosés, a previous associate professor at UBC and current REACT Lab research collaborator, was also in attendance.
